Privacy policy

• Your email address, only if you give it to us (the weekly price report, or the vendor waitlist). We use it to send that email and nothing else.
• Click counts. When you click “View” to go to a vendor, we add one to a counter for that vendor and compound. We don’t store your name, IP address or any account, and the counter isn’t tied to you. If you arrived through a creator’s link, the counter also records that creator’s code.
• What you type in the Research Finder. If you describe what you’re researching, that text is sent to Google’s Gemini AI to match it to a research area. We don’t keep it. Google handles it under its own terms, which for its free tier may allow it to use submitted content to improve its products. Please don’t include personal or medical details.
• Your choices on this device. Your age confirmation, research agreement and light/dark preference are saved in your browser’s storage. They never leave your device.
• Standard server logs. Our host, Vercel, records ordinary request information (such as IP address and pages requested) to run and secure the site.

Some links to vendors may be affiliate links: if you buy after clicking, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Vendors have their own privacy policies and we don’t control what they do with your data. Commissions never change how vendors are ranked. See how we make money.

Vercel (hosting), Upstash (the database that holds email addresses and click counters), Google (Gemini, for the Research Finder), and an email service (such as Resend) when we send the weekly email. We don’t sell your personal information.

Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link, and it removes your address. To ask us to delete anything else we hold about you, contact us using the contact details given on this site.

This site is for adults 21 and over and is not directed at anyone younger.
